Wedding Facilities
Ruttger's has a variety of lodging rooms and space for a wedding for up to 300 people, plus plenty of outdoor space for gatherings and fun.
Outdoor Ceremonies
A scenic northern Minnesota destination wedding at its finest. Say your vows on the shores of beautiful Bay Lake!
Receive your guests on the deck overlooking Bay Lake with full bar service, hors d’oeurves, and snacks. Then, invite everyone upstairs for your reception with a delicious buffet or plated dinner served in a private banquet room.

Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort's indoor rustic charm includes log beams, stone fireplaces, and impressive and ever-present views of Bay Lake.
Our upper-level ballrooms are ideal canvases for you to transform into your dream wedding or reception. Our 5,300-square-foot Island Ballroom will accommodate up to 300 for your dinner reception.

When your big day is done, rest assured that you will sleep well. Ruttger's lodging options include cabins, condos and villas, as well as traditional hotel-style rooms – inspired by the beauty of Bay Lake.
Wherever you choose to stay, you will be just steps away from the lodge, restaurants, coffee shop, pools, beaches and all of Ruttger’s other amenities.
Availability of lodging blocks is based on seasonal demand. As a seasonal resort, we do not offer courtesy room blocks. All dedicated room blocks will require a credit card deposit to ensure the group is coming, and a minimum room expectation.
A signed agreement between the client and resort will be required to reserve lodging exclusively for your group. Current policy requires a two-night minimum stay on weekends Labor Day through Father's Day, a three-night minimum stay is required for holidays and weekends Father's Day through Labor Day.
