Lodge Custodian

Responsible for keeping all lobbies, restrooms, front desk, offices, kitchen, dining rooms, pools, and bar areas clean and sanitary. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.

  • Clean and maintain all lobbies and restrooms.
  • Vacuum carpets.  
  • Polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows etc.  
  • Keep front of resort free of trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness in pool and bar areas.
  • Sweep and mop all areas in kitchen including hallways to kitchen, employee bathrooms, breakrooms, storerooms, and coolers.
  • Empty all garbages and take out and flatten cardboard when needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.


  • Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.


  • Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
