Lodge Custodian

Responsible for keeping all lobbies, restrooms, front desk, offices, kitchen, dining rooms, pools, and bar areas clean and sanitary. Maintain interdepartmental lines of communication and interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.

·        Clean and maintain all lobbies and restrooms atthe Lodge and White Oak Grill.

·        Vacuum carpets in all areas.

·        Polish furniture and fixtures.

·        Clean windows etc.

·        Keep front of resort free of trash.

·        Maintain cleanliness in pool and bar areas.

·        Restock pool towels as needed and bring dirty towels to laundry.

·        Restock supplies as needed in storage and closets.

·        Deliver towels, supplies needed to fulfill guest needs or requests.

·        Assist in housekeeping and/or running dirty linens to laundry.

·        Sweep and mop all areas in kitchen including hallways to kitchen, employee bathrooms, breakrooms, kitchen, storerooms, and coolers.

·        Empty all garbages and take out and flatten cardboard when needed.

·        Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.

·        Any and all other duties as assigned.


·        Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.


·        Must be able to pass Ruttger’s background check.

·        Valid Driver’s License.

·        Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reachwith arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
