Zig's is named after Haas "Zig" Ziegler who developed the nine-hole golf course at Ruttger's in 1921. Zig convinced Alec Ruttger that a golf course would be a great attraction to offer his guests when the fishing on Bay Lake was slow...smart guy. Now, in addition to Alec's Nine, Ruttger's also offers an 18-hole championship course designed by Joel Goldstrand. You can take it all in from Zig's and Zig's patio. Enjoy burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, cocktails and more in a relaxed casual setting.
