Pine Cone Antiques and Art - Nestled in downtown Deerwood, Pine Cone Antiques and Art displays works in a gallery setting.

Ripple River Gallery - Just down the road from Ruttger's, Ripple River Gallery is owned by artisans Bob Carls and Amy Sharpe. The gallery displays work of "regional artisans with an ever-changing selection of wood, pottery, weaving, jewelry, glass, mixed media, original prints, paintings and more."

Hiking and Biking

Cuyuna Lakes State Trail - The Cuyuna Lakes State Recreational Area incorporates both paved and off road paths to take visitors through the regenerated mine land. Extensive moutain bike trails due to be completed this summer. Located 8 miles from Ruttger's in Crosby-Ironton, MN.

Mille Lacs Kathio State Park - Only 23 miles from Ruttger's, Mille Lacs Kathio State Park offers visitors a beautiful trail system packed with historic monuments and abundant wild life.
