Ruttger's weekly activities schedule includes an array of activities with something for everyone. Your getaway can be filled with non-stop fun or you can just grab a lawn chair and relax! Our Minnesota Lake Resort has it all! See the tentative activity schedule for this coming season.

Something For Everyone
Ruttger's offers an abundance of activities that you can enjoy throughout the season including our Sand Castle Contest, Talent Show, walking, hiking and jogging trails, a bicycle route, birding, shuffleboard, basketball, game room, horseshoes, indoor and outdoor pools, playground, sandy beach, sauna, tennis,  volleyball, water volleyball, exercise room, whirlpools, complete Marina services, golfing on Alec's Nine and The Lakes championship course. Kids and Families
Families visiting Ruttger's especially enjoy our Kids' Kamp, designed for kids ages 4 - 12.  Kids' Kamp offers an array of indoor and outdoor fun. 

For those who want to get in touch with nature, our Nature Program offers a loon presentation and cruise, nature walk, and garden tour.

Just Relax
Just up here for a little rest and relaxation? Try an old-fashioned favorite like croquet, bocce ball, shuffleboard or one of our Ruttger's Ed Classes for demonstration or hands-on creativity. We have plenty of board games and puzzles in the Activities Office and books in the Centennial Library. Step back in time with Ruttger's History Tour of the resort. For an added treat, pamper yourself at the The Fine Line Salon and Spa!

Wind down your day with a late afternoon wine tasting featuring Rüttger wines from Germany. After a relaxing dinner, you can sing karaoke at the Bear Pine Bar, try to win it big at bingo, or sit around the bonfire and enjoy s'mores with Ted Fyder or one of our other local musical talents.  

Enjoying Bay Lake
For those who want to get out and enjoy a leisurely cruise on Bay Lake, we offer morning coffee cruises and evening pontoon cruises. For those seeking more adventure on the lake, we offer water tubing, water skiing, knee boarding, and water volleyball. Bay Lake also offers some of the best panfish, bass and northern pike fishing in the area. See if you can land "the big one" at our fishing tournament or see our Guided Fishing page. We have complete Marina services, and fishing licenses are available at the Lobby Shop.

Golf, Tennis & More
For the sports minded, we offer golf and tennis activities including junior and adult golf clinics, golf tournaments, and  tennis lessons. 

We have two Omni Turf and two Laykold tennis courts plus a practice wall. We have separate golf and tennis lessons available upon request.

Maps for biking, jogging, and hiking at the Minnesota Lake Resort and in the area are available in the Activities Office.

Shopping
You'll really enjoy shopping at our fine stores - The Country Store, The Garage, Auntie M's Kaffeehaus, the Lobby Shop and our Pro Shop.

Spa
The Fine Line Salon & Spa at Ruttger's is an Aveda Concept Salon and carries a full line of Aveda products. Whether you're on a family vacation or need to book a larger group, a relaxing visit to the spa should be added to your list of favorite things to do at Ruttger's.
